Lending conditions
Please be sure to check "Lending Conditions" defined by us.
When lending is impossible due to accident, breakdown and some other situations.
In the unlikely event that the vehicle you reserved will be impossible to lend due to some accidents or failures by customers who use it before you, if there are other empty cars, we will change it to a substitute vehicle.
However, if it is impossible to arrange a substitute vehicle for some reason like during the busy season, we will refund the full amount paid in advance and the contract itself will be canceled.
Because of the characteristic of the camper, we cannot immediately prepare a substitute car so please approve in advance of this circumstance.
Furthermore, when we cannot lend out, we cannot compensate for round-trip travel expenses, transportation expenses, accommodation expenses etc. to the pre-determined lending place. Please acknowledge this in advance for application.
Since we will only respond to survey of empty car information of other rental car companies, we ask for your inquiries to themselves.
Notes on extending the scheduled return time
If the return time exceeds 2 hours for any reason, including traffic congestion, which affects the preparation of the vehicle for cleaning when renting to the next customer, or if the delay causes the vehicle to be canceled because it is not ready in time for the next customer, the customer may be charged for all actual costs in addition to his/her own vehicle extension fee for the duration of the next reservation, so please be careful of any delays.
Other precautions
For trash left over at the time of return, 500 yen will be charged per bag of trash (45 liters or less).
- Please take care if you use free mails such as Gmail and Yahoo mails because they may be sorted to the spam mail folder.
- When you send an inquiry, the details entered by you will automatically be sent to your email address. If you do not receive the email, you will not receive an email from our shop, so please set up to receive email from the domain of @ smilecamper.com.
- If you have not received an email from us for more than 3 days, please call us.
